Back in the 1960s, long before plastic containers became standard, Woody’s was already innovating—growing plants in recycled food cans when few options existed. As early adopters in the container-growing movement, we helped shape the region’s nursery industry and provided high-quality plants to the greater Atlanta area.
A Move Toward Growth
In 1973, with Duluth beginning to grow and demand on the rise, Woody’s relocated to its current 11-acre location. This move allowed us to better serve both home gardeners and the landscape industry with a wide variety of healthy, vibrant plants. Alongside our own stock, we also became a trusted dealer for many of the finest growers across the Southeast.
